Welcome to the Kilmeny Group Medical Practice Website

From 18th July 2017 - Due to a shortage of GPs and Nurses we will be temporarily closing the Long Lee Surgery on Tuesdays and Fridays.

We are currently in the process of recruiting both GPs and Nurses; unfortunately there is a country wide shortage, which is out of our control, we hope to return to normal in September.

To ensure safe care for patients and staff we are offering clinic appointments from Ingrow Surgery on Tuesdays & Fridays which includes GP triage.

We will still offer appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays for Nurse and GP clinics at our Long Lee site

Extended Access to Primary Care

From 1 August 2017, this practice is one of 6 in the Worth Valley taking part in the GP extended access service based at Fairfield Medical Centre.

This means that instead of being offered a late or early appointment at our practice you may be offered an opportunity to attend an evening (after 6.30 pm) appointment at Farfield Medical Centre to see a GP or Nurse Practitioner.

Our GPs and Nurse Practitioners will be working in the extended access service at Fairfield alongside those from the other 5 practices involved. Therefore, your appointment may not be with a clinician from this practice.

To use the service we will ask for your consent to share your medical record with the extended access service. When you are offered an appointment, our receptionists will talk to you about what this means and why it is necessary.

  • You can read more about the extended hours service here
  • Farfield Medical Centre is located at West Lane, Keighley BD21 2LD
